A leading firm specializing in commercial real estate is currently recruiting for a knowledgeable Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their dynamic team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal capacity focused on commercial real estate transactions. Requirements
The Commercial Real Estate Paralegal will be responsible for assisting attorneys with all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and leasing. Key duties include conducting due diligence, drafting and reviewing documents, managing transactions from inception to closing, and maintaining organized files. The role requires a proactive attitude and excellent organizational skills to effectively manage a varied workload.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
Essential Functions
· Conduct thorough due diligence for commercial real estate transactions
· Draft, review, and edit transactional documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and amendments
· Coordinate and manage closing processes
· Organize and maintain electronic files with high confidentiality and accuracy
· Assist with title reviews and resolution of title issues
· Monitor critical dates and provide reminders to the legal team
Preferred Education and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution
· Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in commercial real estate
· Strong understanding of commercial leases, purchase agreements, and related documents
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced remote environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
· Ability and willingness to be flexible with work hours when necessary
