Job Details
- Drive the connector product design from concept to launch.
- Work with plastics (injection molding) and metals (stamping, machining).
- Create BOMs, ECNs, and drawings using SolidWorks/CREO.
- Perform connector testing (tensile, thermal, Mil spec) and validation.
- Collaborate with test labs, cross-functional teams, and suppliers.
- Apply Lean and continuous improvement to every project.
- Communicate with customers on technical documents and requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
- 3+ years in connector product design.
- Expert in SolidWorks & CREO with GD&T.
- Experience with MIL-spec connectors (5015, 38999, 28482).
- Strong knowledge of injection molding, stamping, crimping, welding.
- Hands-on prototyping, including 3D printing.
- Familiarity with Lean tools and FEA/simulation a plus.
