Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of clerical and computer related activities and phlebotomy with minimal supervision. This individual interacts with patients of all ages.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.Licensure/Registration/Certification: NoneWork Experience: General office experience and phlebotomy experience is preferred.Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform phlebotomy procedures as necessary. Some lifting, bending, and stretching is required.Work Environment/Hazards: Specimen handling, bio-hazard waste, chemical handling.Job Relationships: Responsible to the Lab Manager or designee. Works with all members of the Department and interacts with other members of the hospital staff.Other Relevant Requirements: None.
