Job Description

AHRC New York City is seeking a Commercial Painting/Instructor. This position requires someone with Commercial painting experience and the ability to teach and complete painting projects with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) throughout the five boroughs. This person must possess Commercial painting experience, and the patience to teach the IDD population.

This is a Temporary position which will last approximately five (5) months.

Salary: $33.56 per hour

Schedule: 35 hours per week...weekly schedule will vary from week to week depending on current project

Qualifications

  • Must have a New York or Tri-State drivers license in good standing for more than one year and the ability and willingness to drive a van.
  • Commercial painting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, preferred not required.
  • Patience is a must.
