Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Location: Ithaca, NY 14850
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts)
Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off (Wednesday – Tuesday)
Pay Rate: $45 – $50 per hour
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dependable X-Ray Technician for a 13-week night shift assignment in a clinical setting. This role offers a consistent 7 on / 7 off schedule with 12-hour shifts, providing an excellent work-life balance. The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic (X-ray) procedures as ordered by physicians

Ensure accurate patient positioning and adherence to radiation safety protocols

Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently

Maintain precise patient records and imaging documentation

Follow infection control standards and facility compliance policies

Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT Certification in Radiography (R)

Active state license (if required)

BLS Certification (preferred)

Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging standards

Ability to work independently during night shifts
