Job Purpose & Impact
The Quantitative Support Analyst plays a key role in executing strategic, data-driven UX research. This is a 6-month contract role designed to provide critical support to our Quant UX Research team. You will work closely with senior quantitative UX researchers to support consistent data workflows, survey programming, data preparation, and vendor coordination, enabling high-quality insights delivery across multiple client engagements. Your contributions will help uncover insights that shape products and services used by millions.
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role ideal for someone who is comfortable working in R, fluent in survey tools like Qualtrics, and eager to contribute to rigorous research operations. Your ability to manage data quality and operational workflows will directly support a Senior Quantitative UXR in generating high-impact insights.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their research or data career looking to build hands-on experience in UX research operations and quantitative methods in a fast-paced agency environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Support the execution of quantitative and mixed-method UX research studies from kickoff to delivery
- Program surveys in platforms like Qualtrics, ensuring logic, branding, and data structure integrity
- Conduct quality assurance (e.g., peer review) on surveys and reporting deliverables
- Monitor survey fielding progress, coordinate with panel vendors, and troubleshoot recruitment or data quality issues
- Assist with sales operations by supporting the vendor bidding process
- Clean and prepare datasets for analysis, using R and Excel to assist with data wrangling and cleaning
- Code open-ended feedback and support synthesis with direction from senior researchers
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in operational tools, documentation, and efficiency practices
- Help pilot and iterate on operational improvements, including data cleaning workflows, documentation, and AI tool integrations
- Communicate clearly with internal teams to support fast-paced project timelines
- Perform other research support and project-related tasks as needed

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
We understand that outstanding candidates can come from a variety of backgrounds. While specific experience is important, we are ultimately looking for candidates with the personal characteristics to thrive in a growing client-focused business. The ideal candidate will likely meet many or most of the job criteria listed below.
- 23 years of academic or professional experience in quantitative research, preferably in a UX, consulting, or agency setting
- Familiarity with R, particularly for cleaning, organizing, and summarizing large data sets
- Experience programming surveys using Qualtrics or similar platforms (e.g., Alchemer)
- Attention to detail and high standards for data accuracy and consistency
- A strong interest in UX, research operations, and data-driven problem solving
- Openness to using AI tools to assist with tasks like code generation and data restructuring
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, remote work environment aligned with East or West Coast hours
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, HCI, Market Research, Statistics, Behavioral Science, etc.)
