Position Details:
- Location: Hyde Park, NY
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Compensation: $31 - $33 per hour (based on experience)
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and effective patient care
- Support respiratory needs (aerosol treatments, suctioning, etc.)
- Perform therapeutic procedures (Foley catheter care, IV insertion, phlebotomy, EKGs)
- Prepare and administer medications; monitor patient response
- Record vital signs, collect specimens, and assist in patient prep
- Collaborate with RNs and care teams to meet patient goals
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Qualifications:
- Current New York State LPN license and registration
- Certificate from an accredited LPN program
- 1–2 years of experience in an ambulatory or clinical setting preferred
- Proficient in medication administration and venipuncture
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Bilingual Spanish skills a plus
- Must hold valid BCLS, Infection Control, and Child Abuse certifications
