Salary: $70K-$125K + Bonus

We are a privately-owned civil construction company in business for 45 years, and we handle bonded work for local municipalities, state and federal agencies.
Position Overview
We are currently in search of an Estimator for our heavy-highway projects. We are open to considering all experience levels, even those with no estimating experience. However, having prior heavy-highway experience at a general contractor is a must to be considered. Estimating experience is preferred, but we are also open to Project Managers and Superintendents with heavy-highway experience at a GC that want to be trained on estimating.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project bids for highway construction and other fields
- Performing accurate takeoffs
- Cost estimation
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations
Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineer or Construction Management preferred but not required
- 3+ years of heavy-highway construction
- Prior experience at a General Contractor in the heavy-highway space
- Heavy-highway estimating experience is preferred but also open to PMs or Supers that want to learn estimating
- Familiarity with B2W software is a plus
