Job DescriptionCamp Bow Wow is urgently hiring to fill out our talented team.
Camp Bow Wow Albany seeks exceptional people to provide loving care for dogs and a superior customer service for our pet parents. We are currently interviewing for a full-time Front Desk Representative (Guest Service Agent). Our full-time employees are expected to work 34-40 hours each week and be available for weekend work and holidays. This is a closing position requiring availability from 12pm-7:45pm.
The Guest Service Agent position is physically demanding and full of daily challenges and victories.
Requirements

• Must love dogs and demonstrate no fear across all breeds and sizes.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable with both pets and people.
• Have a positive attitude, are extremely detailed oriented, trustworthy, punctual, reliable, and responsible.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. We work when others are enjoying vacation and holidays.
• Must be physically able to lift 150+ pounds.
• Have a reliable personal vehicle.
• Be available to work during the hours of 12p-7:45pm, including holidays and weekends.
• Must be 18.
• Must have proven experience in excellent customer service and sales.
• Previous dog daycare and boarding or veterinary reception experience helpful, but not required.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Great pet parents promptly.
• Escort dogs to the back of house cabin area.
• Manage reservations via phone, email, and the portal.
• Process credit card and cash payments.
• Be knowledgeable of our services.
• Upsell services.
• Manage client concerns in a timely fashion.
• Review vaccine records.
• Schedule grooming and training appointments.
• General cleaning assignments during slow periods.
• Support Back of House during slow periods.
• Respond to escalations in the play yards.
• Perform duties of Camp Counselor (Dog Daycare Attendant) during slow periods.
