Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Operating Room Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Auburn, New York. This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated surgical team in a community-based hospital while enjoying the beauty and history of New Yorks Finger Lakes region.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field in the operating room

• Assist surgeons and OR staff during procedures by passing instruments and supplies

• Anticipate surgeon needs to ensure smooth surgical flow

• Maintain proper care and handling of surgical instruments and equipment

• Adhere to infection control and safety standards

Requirements:

• Certification: NBSTSA (preferred) or NCCT

• BLS certification (AHA required)

• Minimum of 12 years of recent operating room experience

• Experience in general surgery, orthopedics, and OB/GYN preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills
