JOB DESCRIPTION:
General Assembly
REPORTS TO:
Assembly Supervisor
SUMMARY:
In Assembly you will be responsible for assembling truck doors using power tools, installing hardware, applying decals, and drilling panels to specification. In Assembly you will also be responsible for light painting, film removal, and general shop support. You must maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with various tasks as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Flush routing rivets
- Applying decals to various doors
- Drilling panels for special hardware per job paperwork
- Fastening to special hardware
- Peeling protective films off certain door types
- Painting tables, machines, various equipment
- Assemble truck doors using various power tools
- Follow safety guidelines and production standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work efficiently with your team to meet production goals
- All employees in assembly will have to do miscellaneous tasks at times or fill in for other employees that are indisposed
SKILLS NEEDED:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Must follow safety guidelines and production standards.
- Must be able to read tape measure & perform basic math functions.
- Must be able to understand different edge coatings / how they are applied.
- Must be able to read & comprehend order forms.
PAY:
$21.66/hr – 1st Shift
$22.20/hr – 2nd Shift

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must pass post offer pre-employment test
- Must be able to work heavy assembly
- Must have a good range of motion
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
