Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for students in grades 6-12. This role requires on-site presence with a dedicated caseload, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication development within an educational setting.
Location: Irvington, NY
Duration: February 10, 2025, to April 25, 2025
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:50 AM to 3:20 PM
Caseload: Approximately 22 students
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience in both healthcare and school-based SLP settings
- Pediatric SLP proficiency with the ability to address a wide array of speech and language disorders
- Teletherapy experience is a plus but not required for this on-site role
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Familiarity with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) in both school and healthcare environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language evaluations and therapy to students within the specified grade range
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school policies and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches to student success
