About the Role:
Aerosoles is seeking a highly organized, detail-driven Associate Manager of Footwear Costing to support our diverse range of footwear linesincluding Mainline, Essentials, and Off-Price Makeups. In this role, youll play a pivotal part in achieving our margin goals and maintaining cost integrity across all collections. Youll work closely with the VP of Sourcing & Product Development and assist the Product Line Manager in executing pricing strategies, negotiating with factories, and ensuring that all cost-related data is accurate and timely.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the VP of Sourcing & Product Development to manage all cost, margin, and pricing analytics across multiple lines.
  • Communicate and negotiate with factories on costs, ensuring alignment with margin targets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Review and validate cost breakdowns against Bills of Materials (BOMs); troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Manage and track all costing milestones across Mainline, Essentials, and Off-Price divisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, Merchandising, Sales, and Production to relay up-to-date cost information and align on strategy.
  • Maintain accurate cost and HTS data in internal systems; update in real time as new information becomes available.
  • Document cost trends and savings by season and by line to inform future sourcing and pricing strategies.
  • Conduct ad hoc reporting and margin analysis as needed to support business decisions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline costing processes and improve data consistency and visibility.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Product Development, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in footwear costing, sourcing, or product developmentideally in a multi-tiered brand environment.
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence working with large datasets in Excel; experience with PLM systems and BOM management a plus.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities across fast-paced timelines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and overseas factories.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong sense of ownership over your work.

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $75k - $85k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
