Summary: Looking for a Facility Supervisor with experience in managing facility-related projects, supervising skilled trades employees, and coordinating building activities.
Job Requirements:

Associates Degree or equivalent technical degree; Bachelors Degree in related field preferred.

2+ years of supervisory experience.

Electrical knowledge required; New York State Apprenticeship a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills:
-
Ability to collaborate with various departments to resolve problems.

Experience in managing up to 20 skilled trades employees.

Familiarity with facility support systems (HVAC, air compressors, vacuum pumps, etc.).

Experience in maintaining accurate facility drawings and schematics.

Proficiency in conducting contractor coordination including on-site pre-job briefing.
Job Responsibilities:
-
Collaborate with Management Staff to establish and complete facility-related projects.
-
Supervise day-to-day activities to ensure facilities support all functions necessary for production.
-
Facilitate operation and maintenance of facility support systems.
-
Resolve issues by collaborating with engineers, quality assurance, production and maintenance employees.

Supervise the Electrical and HVAC Journeymen within the facilities.
-
Advise on employee work schedules, training needs, performance appraisals and safety requirements.

Coordinate building activities to maintain functional and visually appealing facility.

Maintain accurate facility drawings including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Coordinate completion of required records (preventive maintenance, downtime etc.)

Initiate capital appropriations requests for ongoing maintenance operations.

Conduct contractor coordination including on site pre-job briefing.

Manage layout modifications in the office area.

Manage fire suppression system in collaboration with the safety department.

Coordinating plant shutdown activities related to facility system(s) maintenance.
Pay: 27-36

Pay Details: $27.00 to $36.00 per hour
