Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care and monitor patients in a telemetry setting.

  • Serve as charge nurse when assigned, overseeing unit operations.
  • Mentor and support new nursing staff as a preceptor.
  • Participate in committees to contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and standards.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license, New York State.
  • Minimum of two years nursing experience, with specific Telemetry experience required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and adherence to evidence-based practices.
