Insurance Defense Attorney - Hybrid
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities
An AV-rated insurance defense firm headquartered in New York seeks a driven and experienced Litigation Associate with bar admission in both New York and New Jersey. This full-time role offers the opportunity to join a respected team handling sophisticated matters in General Liability and New York Labor Law litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
- Analyze case files, conduct legal research, and draft high-quality pleadings and memoranda
- Manage complex cases independently and collaboratively within a team-based environment
- Maintain high standards of service and advocacy for diverse clients
Requirements:
- Active admission to the New York State Bar (required)
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar (preferred)
- 3 or more years of Insurance Defense experience
- Demonstrated litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or related fields
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience with Motions and Depositions
