FRONT DESK AGENT
Roles, Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
- Greeting and directing residents, staff and guests
- Checking in and announcing all clients, vendors, and other visitors
- Ensuring that guests sign in and show identification
- Manage the phone system, answer and help direct phone calls and messages to appropriate staff
- Monitor cameras and report any inappropriate activity
- Monitor fire panel
- Update logbook with updates on every shift
- Ensure that incoming and outgoing mail is properly sorted/posted for pickup
- Receive, file, and track tenant work orders
- Complete incident reports related to onsite staff and tenant injuries and incidents
- Perform wellness checks on tenants, as needed
- Provide emergency assistance to tenants, as needed
- Ensure a culturally responsive, safe, inclusive, respectful and welcoming environment
- Perform any other tasks or errands needed for overall administrative operations as deemed necessary by the Program Director or Building Manager
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Prior work Experience with older adults preferred, but not required
- Computer Literate
- Highly Organized
- Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills
- Detailed oriented and systems savvy
- Compassionate and personable
- Team-oriented
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
- Able to use or learn multiple data systems including Yardi Maintenance
Physical Requirements
- Moderate use of computer and phone systems
- Occasional lifting of up to 30lbs
Work Environment
- Indoor Office
- Occasional visits to tenant apartments
