Position Summary:
The Case Aide provides essential support to case managers and social workers by assisting with administrative tasks, client services, and program coordination. This role ensures efficient workflow and quality service delivery in support of individuals and families receiving social, health, housing, or child welfare services.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist case managers in coordinating services, scheduling appointments, and following up with clients

Help prepare and maintain client files, forms, and documentation in compliance with agency and legal standards

Accompany clients to appointments, court hearings, or service agencies as needed

Answer phone calls, respond to client inquiries, and provide general information about services

Monitor and document client interactions, progress, and needs under supervision

Support intake procedures, including gathering background information and required documentation
-
Assist in arranging transportation, housing, or essential supplies for clients when applicable

Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions

Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and case reviews as assigned

Perform other administrative or client-related duties as required
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field preferred

Previous experience in a social services or support role is an asset

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if travel is required)

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work with diverse populations in sensitive and respectful ways

Proficient in basic computer applications and data entry (e.g., Microsoft Office, case management software)
Work Conditions:

Office and community-based work; occasional home visits or field work
-
May involve exposure to individuals in crisis or challenging environments

Regular business hours with occasional evenings or weekends depending on program needs
