Self-Direction DSP - Fayetteville Area (Job #ME/RG)

Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a compassionate and experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work one-on-one with an active young man with a developmental disability. In this meaningful role, you will support his development of essential independent living skills, encourage community involvement, and help him participate in enriching social experiences. A key part of your responsibilities will include implementing and monitoring individualized behavior support strategies designed to promote his growth and well-being. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Direct Support Professional, along with a background in special education, caregiving, or a related field. Familiarity with behavior intervention strategies is also highly valued.

Hours and days of work,

Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm

Saturday and/or Sunday Flexible hours available

Payrate: $24.00

Location: Fayetteville

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assistance with independent living skills, support with health and safety and pursuing personal interests. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities a plus. A reliable vehicle and a valid NYS driver's license are required. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
