We have an incredible opportunity for an OSP FTTX Construction Project Manager with a strong team.


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Program Manager to oversee and lead end-to-end execution of fiber network deployment programs. This role is responsible for managing multiple large-scale FTTH construction projects, coordinating across internal teams and external contractors to deliver high-quality and timely fiber builds.


Requirements and Responsibilities

  • Work with PMO team to forecast construction go-live dates.
  • Lead and manage multiple FTTH construction projects across various markets from planning through execution and close-out.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules and resource plans in alignment with company goals.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Permitting, and Field Operations teams to align on project requirements and timelines.
  • Support the Project Managers with management of subcontractors and vendors to ensure efficient deployment of fiber infrastructure.
  • Support utility locate initiatives and mitigate delays
  • Accountable for OSP Construction projects, including the foundational trackers for each project, based on the project needs, and working with management, subcontractors, vendors, and clients on a regular basis.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables using project management tools (Microsoft Office, Sitetracker, etc).
  • Lead status meetings, update executive leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Support or lead process development and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize time and scalability.
  • Resolve conflicts, roadblocks, and permit/utility delays proactively through strong stakeholder engagement
  • Manage changes to the project scope and project schedule to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Manage invoice review and approvals.
  • Analyze the data input to create accurate internal and external reporting for all stakeholders.
  • Report and escalate issues as needed and in a timely manner.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.


Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience in telecom/fiber construction, with 3+ years in project management.
  • Strong knowledge of FTTH architecture, aerial and underground construction methods, and permitting processes.
  • Demonstrated success managing and forecasting large-scale, multi-phase construction programs with multiple vendors.
  • Proficiency with construction project tracking tools and workflows (Excel, Google Earth, Salesforce, etc).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on collaboration, accountability, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Experience with fiber to the home builds preferred.
