Job DescriptionSalary: $17/hr +
Residential Aides NEEDED- MANHATTAN
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Patrol residence and report any observations leading to loss or damage of property.
- Monitor resident activities and act to restore order if needed.
- Make out reports as required/ Complete incident reports in AWARDS.
- Act as escort for residents.
- Screen calls and visitors.
- Monitor the self-administration of medication.
- Prepare the following, as needed: laundry schedule, census update, case assignments, roll call sheet, and client probation list.
- Help maintain transition and facilities logs.
- Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.
- Related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS diploma/ GED required; some college preferred.
- One year of experience as a security guard or counselor for the mentally ill is preferred.
- Bilingual, Spanish/ English preferred.
- Basic computer literacy is required.
- CPR training certification or willingness to take training classes in CPR.
