Job DescriptionTo coordinate utility mapping/locating projects at SWF Airport and Ports Facilities according to the Performance of LAND
SURVEYING SERVICES – HYDROGRAPHIC, PHOTOGRAMMETRIC, TOPOGRAPHIC, AND
BOUNDARY ENGINEERING SURVEYING
The following are some duties and responsibilities required of the Project Coordinator:
• Personnel will be required to qualify for the following credentials:
o Occupational Safety and Health Act 30 (OSHA 30-Hour) certification
o Secure Worker Access Consortium (SWAC) ID
o Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, with DR1 Escort privileges
o Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), if needed.
• Coordinates with PA and Consultant Field Crews performing Utility mapping/locating surveys and
topographic ‘design’ surveys.
• Acts as a liaison between PA CSG Supervisor and PA Facility Engineers/staff/Construction to
coordinate survey requirements and needs.
• Maintains/Monitors “1-call” ticket managing status.
• Drafting capabilities of a Survey/CAD Technician in support of SWF, EWR, TEB, and Ports facilities.
• Responsible for maintaining updated SWF and Ports Master Utility Files.
• Review incoming CAD files for clarity, content, and accuracy in accordance with PA CAD Standards.
• Provides daily reports and weekly project progress reports to PA CSG and maintains facility survey
records.
• Ability to set priorities, coordinate activities and review plans.
• Technical expertise in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Research ‘Hard copy” as well as electronic reference drawings.
• Desktop computer and PA email will be provided.
• Typical work hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm to align with on going construction projects.
