Job Description
Join a team specializing in the custom fabrication of transformer lead cables and wrapped solid conductor wire. This role involves producing flexible bare copper conductors with paper or cotton insulation, ensuring they are contamination-free for use in transformer oils. You will be part of a dynamic team serving clients across the U.S. and Canada, packaging products on reusable wooden reels and tailoring construction to meet specific customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in wire production and shipping/receiving operations.
- Operate cable fabrication machinery after training.
- Perform quality control checks and record data.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety protocols and production guidelines.
Essential Skills
- Experience in production, forklift operation, and general production.
- Mechanical aptitude to work with various machines.
- Ability to perform inspection and material handling.
- Packaging experience and basic math skills.
- General labor, assembly, hand tool, and tape measure proficiency.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to read micrometers for experienced candidates.
- Must be reliable and eager to learn.

Work Environment
Experience an industrial work environment with a clean, well-lit, and organized smaller shop. Work hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, and Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Niagara Falls, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
