The Production Associate is primarily responsible for assembling the core components used in thermal and heat exchange products. You will measure materials such as metal, cut them to specifications, and transport them around the shop. The role involves standing for long periods and using hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Assemble core components for thermal and heat exchange products.
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
- Transport materials within the shop.
- Maintain clean work areas at all times.
- Inspect products using drawings.
- Assist in staging materials for other departments.
- Lift between 15-30 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Essential Skills
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Basic math and measurement knowledge.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with micrometers and calipers.
- Previous tenure in similar positions.
- Experience with hand and power tools, inspection, and machine operation.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to pass drug and background checks.
- Possession of own transportation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform tasks in a timely manner.

Work Environment
Work in an industrial machine and fabrication shop where steel-toed boots, proper eye protection, and gloves are required. The shift runs from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, offering a dynamic and hands-on work experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Niagara Falls, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
