Job DescriptionWe’re seeking a dedicated and passionate Singapore Math Teacher to deliver engaging, concept-driven math lessons to students grade k-5. Responsibilities
- Teach Singapore Math (e.g., model drawing, number sense, critical thinking) to students across age groups (grade k-5).
- Design interactive, hands-on lessons aligned with Singapore Math principles to build foundational and advanced skills.
- Create a structured, supportive, and disciplined in-person learning environment to maximize student engagement.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and formative evaluations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on progress and areas for improvement.
- Work with the teaching team to refine and share best practices.
- Conduct regular progress updates with parents and address inquiries about the program.
Requirements
- Fluent English proficiency (verbal and written) to teach and communicate complex concepts clearly.
- In-depth knowledge of Singapore Math curriculum and teaching methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of in-person teaching experience (e.g., schools, tutoring centers, or learning academies).
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain focus and discipline.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with young learners.
