Job DescriptionSiemens Healthineers is currently seeking candidates for X-ray Technologist positions that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Wilkes- Barre, PA. This is a travel healthcare contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details

  • Location: Wilkes- Barre, Pennsylvania
  • Modality: X-Ray
  • Shift: 5x8 Nights
    • Every other weekend
    • 40-hour work week
  • Equipment: Siemens (X.Pree), GE (portables, fixed room, and C-arm), and Philips (room)
  • Role: Work in a level I trauma center supporting in all areas of x-ray, including OR. No fluoroscopy.
  • Pay: $2,800 weekly gross(eligible for benefits)

Requirements:

  • Active ARRT(R) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of professional experience within modality

About Your Role: As a Travel X-Ray Technologist, you will deliver high-quality diagnostic radiographic services in a variety of clinical settings. You'll work closely with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure clear imaging, patient safety, and compassionate care throughout each procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general diagnostic X-ray exams according to physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and technique to capture accurate, high-quality images.
  • Maintain a focus on patient comfort, safety, and dignity during all imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, performing routine quality checks.
  • Comply with all radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Adapt quickly to new environments and workflows across different healthcare facilities.
