Soliant Education is hiring a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite contract position in New Kingston, NY. The school has multiple classroom and support service roles available, all serving middle school students (Grades 68).

Openings Include:

• 12:1 Special Class English (Grades 6 & 7)

• 12:1 Special Class Math (Grades 6 and 7)

• Resource Room (Grades 7 & 8)

• Consultant Teacher Services (Grades 68)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction in self-contained and resource settings

• Provide consultant teacher services to general education classes

• Manage IEP implementation, documentation, and progress reporting

• Adapt instruction for students with diverse academic and behavioral needs

• Collaborate with general education staff and support teams

Requirements:

• Valid NYS Special Education Certification (Grades 59 or equivalent)

• Experience with self-contained or consultant teacher models preferred

• Strong understanding of IEPs and special education pliance

• Strong munication and collaboration skills
