Facilities Maintenance Technician
Pay Range: $25-$33/hr DOE
We’re hiring a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a high-production industrial facility. This hands-on role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to ensure continuous operations. If you have a strong technical background, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently, we want to hear from you. US Citizenship or permanent residency is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks
- Diagnose issues using manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools
- Replace or repair parts on motors, circuits, valves, pumps, and other systems
- Install wiring, conduit, sensors, and other components for new or modified machinery
- Document work in maintenance systems and communicate updates to team
- Follow all safety and environmental protocols, including chemical handling procedures
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required
- 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read technical diagrams and use diagnostic tools
- Basic computer skills for work order tracking and communication
- Ability to lift 40 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks as needed
- Must supply own basic hand tools
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed - ability to work other shifts is a strong plus
