Job DescriptionSuperintendent - Construction
This company's urgently hiring for a super with experience working on out of the ground construction.
Ideally, they want someone who has experience working on government or educational buildings. Concrete experience a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Supervise and lead construction teams and subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
- Manage contract negotiations and enforce contract terms with subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction supervision or project management.
- Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiation.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with risk management and compliance in construction projects.
