Now Hiring: Full Time Plumbers/ Lead Plumber
We are launching a brand-new Plumbing Department and are looking for a highly experienced, forward-thinking Plumber who is ready to take on a leadership role. This is an opportunity to build the department from the ground up, , and deliver exceptional service to our customers. As our Plumbing Lead, you will support residential plumbing and heating services, provide expert technical guidance, and play a key part in developing a high-performing team. You will also contribute to shaping department standards, customer experience practices, and operational procedures to ensure we deliver safe, reliable, and energy-efficient solutions.
What You Will Do
- Take a lead role in developing a new plumbing department, including establishing best practices, workflows, and service standards.
- Perform and oversee residential plumbing services, installations, and repairs with advanced technical expertise.
- Work closely with leadership, dispatch, installation, and parts teams to coordinate and execute service operations efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners to present repair and replacement options, ensuring exceptional customer experience.
- Leverage your HVAC experience to assess, service, or support heating systems (hydronics, steam, boilers, etc.).
- Interpret and apply plumbing and mechanical codes accurately.
- Maintain accurate documentation, complete all required paperwork, and ensure your company vehicle is clean and stocked.
- Assist with interviewing, onboarding, or mentoring future plumbing team members as the department grows.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional residential plumbing experience (required).
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC/heating systems and their integration with plumbing.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, or support a team — or readiness to step into a leadership role.
- Ability to make sound, on-the-job decisions and solve problems efficiently.
- Proficient with power tools and all standard plumbing tools.
- Strong soldering, brazing, and mechanical skills.
- Solid math, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
