Job DescriptionJob Title: Electrical JR Mechanic Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Foreman with expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical layouts. The role involves conduit bending, electrical construction, switchgear installation, mounting boxes and panels, pulling wire, roughing MC and BX cable, and handling Lutron lighting packages and fire alarms.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Execute electrical layout and conduit bending tasks.
- Install EMT, Galvanized, and Ridged conduit for electrical construction.
- Perform switchgear installation, mounting boxes, and panels.
- Pull wire and rough MC & BX cable effectively.
- Install and manage Lutron lighting packages, risers, and lighting systems.
- Handle fire alarm installations and maintenance.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in electrical, conduit, wiring, troubleshooting, installation, and pulling wire.
- Expertise in conduit bending, electrical wiring, and running conduit.
- Knowledge of schematics, switchgear, and lighting.
- Familiarity with NEC Code and electrical layouts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- SST 10 certification.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- 4-10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of NEC code.

Work Environment
Work locations include Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including a half-hour lunch. The work environment is safety-oriented, requiring PPE at all times, and utilizes mobile clock-in codes for efficient time management.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
