Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is seeking an experienced Security Operation Center (SOC) Operator
Rockville Centre, Long Island, NY
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr.
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday
Doyle Security Services is seeking an experienced SOC Operator to assist in providing exceptional service to our employees and clients. As an SOC Operator you are directly responsible for the effective and efficient flow of information from the Security Operations Center to the DSS Management and Security Personnel. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring a variety of technologies including access control, video surveillance, scheduling software and alarm systems.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with managers and security personnel
- CCTV monitoring and access control
- Alarm monitoring
- Maintain knowledge of client sites and status of security personnel
- Handling emergency phone calls in accordance with established procedures
- Provide detailed reports.
- Provide situational awareness of issues occurring throughout the region through internet observation, news media reporting and establish inter-group communication with other support elements.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Supervisory experience.
- Current NYS Security Guard License
- Clean driving record.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- SOC Operator/customer service experience is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to use multiple computer monitors at the same time.
- Excellent organization and strong ability to prioritize.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.
