Position Summary:

The Clinical Education Manager is responsible for the strategic coordination and operational oversight of all student clinical placements at Helene Fuld College of Nursing. This role ensures high-quality, compliant, and equitable clinical learning experiences across programs by managing affiliate partnerships, faculty assignments, documentation processes, and regulatory standards. The Clinical Education Manager reports directly to the Co-Dean and collaborates closely with academic leadership, faculty, students, and healthcare affiliates.


Essential Responsibilities:

Clinical Placement Planning & Execution

• Coordinate semester-based planning for clinical placements in AAS and Generic BS programs.

• Collect and analyze student enrollment data and clinical requirements in collaboration with program directors.

• Manage placement preferences and availability to match students with clinical sites effectively.

• Maintain a centralized clinical placement database with real-time status updates.

Affiliate and Contract Management

• Lead outreach to clinical affiliates to secure placement slots and maintain ongoing relationships.

• Track and renew affiliate agreements; ensure compliance with site-specific onboarding requirements.

• Document and evaluate site performance, including student feedback and preceptor assessments.

Compliance and Documentation Oversight

• Oversee the onboarding process for students and faculty (CastleBranch clearance, immunizations, background checks, etc.).

• Ensure all compliance documentation meets institutional and clinical site requirements before clinical start dates.

• Audit and archive records in accordance with accreditation standards and retention policies.

Clinical Hours and Attendance Tracking

• Monitor clinical attendance and ensure accurate tracking of clinical hours.

• Coordinate and document make-up sessions and remediation plans for students who miss clinical days.

• Generate bi-weekly reports on clinical attendance, missed hours, and course progress.

Faculty Coordination and Development

• Schedule and support adjunct faculty orientation, including evaluation training and clinical protocols.

• Maintain faculty teaching logs, evaluations, and performance records.

• Provide ongoing professional development opportunities and support to adjunct clinical faculty.

Student Experience and Issue Resolution

• Provide logistical support and professional development workshops to prepare students for clinical environments.

• Address student issues, absences, site conflicts, and performance concerns with professionalism and discretion.

• Facilitate evaluation and remediation plans in collaboration with program leadership.

End-of-Semester Review and Reporting

• Oversee collection and verification of all clinical evaluation forms and hour logs.

• Prepare summary reports for academic leadership and accreditation review.

• Lead post-semester debrief sessions with faculty and affiliates to improve future placement processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

• RN license preferred but not required

• Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical education, academic program management, or healthcare administration

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, CastleBranch, and cloud-based collaboration tools

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Experience working with diverse student populations and healthcare settings

• Full-time, Monday through Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Salary is $90,000- $100,000
