- Experience with Epic is strongly preferred but not required
Schedule: 19:00-07:00 ; Nights ; 36 or 48 hours guaranteed

Unit Size: 46 beds
Age & Gender: Varies widely; no specific demographic profile
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: No more than 6:1, ensuring adequate attention to patient needs.
Staffing Model: Charge nurse oversees the unit and may have a smaller assignment to assist on the floor. Nursing assistants are scheduled but may float off the unit or provide support for confused patients as needed.
Layout: The unit is large with a nurses' station located at both the front and back, facilitating communication and oversight across the two sides of the unit
Laboratory/Specialty Equipment Used:
- MASIMO for non-invasive monitoring
- Bedside monitoring systems
- EKG machines
- Bladder scanners
REQUIREMENTS:
- The clinician must have at least 2 years of experience in their discipline (RN, CST, CT Tech, etc.) as well as 2 full years of recent experience in the specialty they are being submitted for (Med/Surg, OR, etc.)
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- BLS

ABOUT THE FACILITY
Our Center is a 180-bed, acute care inpatient teaching facility in Cooperstown, New York. We offer 24-hour emergency and trauma care, comprehensive cancer and heart care, dialysis, and most medical and surgical specialties. The Clinic is located on the same campus as the medical center, and provides outpatient primary and specialty care.
