Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position is ideal for a registered nurse with MS/Telemetry experience seeking an engaging role on a night shift. The opportunity is based in Pittsford, NY, serving a dynamic patient population with cardiac disease, stroke, infections, and pain management needs. Candidates with at least one year of nursing experience, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management, are well-suited for this role.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license required; MS/Telemetry experience mandatory
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience, including management of dysrhythmias and use of Rapid Response Teams
- Experience with peripheral line care, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
- Familiarity with bladder scanners, telemetry, EKG machines, and lifepacks
- Comfort with EPIC electronic health records preferred
- Ability to float to MS, ED, ICU (stable patients), and acute brain injury units
- Comfortable working night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
- Commitment to every other weekend work
- Professional appearance: navy blue/white scrubs required
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with complex cardiac and neurological conditions
- Interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and respond appropriately
- Collaborate with Rapid Response Teams and utilize specialized equipment
- Manage PICC and central lines; administer care within isolation precautions
- Coordinate with support staff including PCTs and phlebotomy teams to optimize patient outcomes
Shift and Schedule:
- Nights: 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Every other weekend required
- Block scheduling considered but not guaranteed
Contract Details:

- Locals within 75 miles are not considered for this role
