Smiles + Grins is a modern, fun, and friendly pediatric dental practice on the Upper East Side, and we’re looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our upbeat, supportive team.
We believe great dentistry starts with a happy team and a positive atmosphere.
Schedule:
- Wednesdays & Thursdays
- One Saturday per month
- Fridays coming soon
Pay: $23–$29 per hour, based on experience
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience a big plus)
- Comfortable, patient, and confident working with children
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Strong chairside assisting skills
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection control
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Chairside assisting during pediatric dental procedures
- Preparing and turning over operatories
- Taking digital X-rays
- Helping kids feel calm, safe, and even excited about their visits
- Keeping the clinical area clean, organized, and running smoothly
