Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Lab Technician to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development within the fragrance industry. Ideal candidates should have a passion for learning, be able to work under pressure, and possess strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with perfumers to compound fragrances.
- Examine and assemble formulas for the perfumer.
- Ensure accuracy in labeling and bottling all formulas.
- Manage and work with 200-300 chemicals at any given time.
- Learn to compound fragrances if lacking prior experience.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior lab experience is required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent math skills for measuring in grams.
- Detail-oriented and accurate in work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Interest in entering the fragrance space is a huge plus.
- Experience with SAP is advantageous.
- A great attitude and a go-getter mentality.
Work Environment
The position is based in a small laboratory setting, working as part of a team of seven technicians. The lab can be fast-paced, requiring the candidate to wear a lab coat. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekend work.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
