Job Description:
A leading behavioral services organization is seeking a dedicated Behavior Specialist to join a collaborative, interdisciplinary treatment team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about applied behavior analysis (ABA), psychology, and positive behavioral support within a supportive and ethical clinical environment. The position focuses on helping individuals reach their fullest potential by promoting functional life skills, behavioral growth, and emotional well-being. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional assessments of behavior using reliable tools and established best practices.
- Develop and implement behavior support plans (BSPs) grounded in ethical principles of positive behavior analysis.
- Collaborate with treatment team members to establish and monitor individualized behavioral goals.
- Design and manage data collection systems, analyze behavioral data, and provide progress updates.
- Respond to Crisis Team calls and assist in the safe de-escalation of behavioral incidents on campus.
- Receive clinical supervision from lead behavior specialists or clinical supervisors.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development sessions.
- Serve as a resource for staff on behavior analysis and psychological strategies.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical doctors, and counselors to ensure continuity of care.
- Attend and contribute to psychiatric clinics or appointments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing behavioral updates and obtaining necessary consents.
- Uphold all ethical standards and comply with Springbrook Behavioral Services policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall program goals.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience implementing behavior support plans and conducting functional behavior assessments.
- Knowledge of ABA principles, crisis intervention, and data-driven decision making.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both clients and team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
