Job Summary
We are currently looking to hire a Treatment Coordinator for our orthodontic practice. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all new patients, guiding them through the initial stages of their orthodontic journey. You'll be serving as the liaison between the doctor, reception staff, insurance coordinator, and the patient.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing diagnostics and treatment plans with patients.
- Answering any questions related to the treatment plan.
- Assist the Orthodontist in diagnosing and treatment planning the new patients throughout their appointments
- Reviewing Insurance details, finances relating to the patients treatment.
- Assisting in composing narrative to submit for pre-authorizations to insurance.
- Answer phone calls and emails pertaining to clinical/treatment related questions.
- Assist with maintaining an inviting environment
- Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of patients throughout their services
The ideal candidate will have a cheerful disposition, excellent communication and computer skills, and a strong ability to multitask.
Qualifications
- One or more years of customer service experience is preferred
- Previous experience as a treatment coordinator in an Orthodontic office if preferred, but will accept general dental experience
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Familiar with computers and scheduling software, such as Ortho2 Edge, but not mandatory
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
