Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on pediatric and school settings. This role is situated in Schenectady, NY, within an engaging elementary school environment, catering to the needs of 2nd-grade students with moderate disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment and treatment for students requiring speech and language support, in accordance with IEP recommendations.
  • Conduct individual sessions twice weekly, tailoring approaches to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop comprehensive support plans.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student development and strategies for improvement.
