A premier private practice in Manhattan, New York, is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist to join their team at a cutting-edge outpatient surgical centers.
ASA 1/2 cases include orthopedics (requiring regional), general surgery, ENT, podiatry, and plastics. With this group, you will be doing your own anesthesia cases.
Compensation and Benefits

Competitive Salary: Base salary range of $400,000 to $425,000.

Comprehensive Benefits: Includes malpractice insurance, health insurance paid 100% for the physician, and a generous 401K contribution starting after the first year.

Work-Life Balance: Regular schedule of 30-35 hours per week. Optional Saturday coverage available at $400 per hour.
Responsibilities

Anesthesia Services: Provide anesthesia for outpatient surgical cases, including orthopedics (requiring regional anesthesia), general surgery, ENT, podiatry, and plastics.

Pre-Operative Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations to develop tailored anesthesia plans for each patient.

Patient Monitoring: Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal pain management.

Regional Anesthesia Expertise: Utilize ultrasound-guided blocks to enhance patient outcomes and minimize post-operative pain.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the surgical team to coordinate anesthesia services and ensure efficient patient care.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient information, anesthesia plans, and perioperative care in compliance with protocols and regulations.
- Fantastic Support Staff: work with a passionate support team that works safely and efficiently to provide excellent care to their patients.
Qualifications

Education: Medical degree and completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program.

Certification: You must have Board certification in Anesthesiology.

Interpersonal Skills: A Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with patients, surgeons, and healthcare professionals.

Professional Ethics: Commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Licensure: A New York medical license is a plus, but not required to apply.
