Position Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to join a high-performing ED team in Watertown, NY. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in fast-paced, high-acuity settings and can intervene quickly in life-threatening situations. The ED RN will deliver comprehensive patient care, demonstrate strong critical thinking, and play a key role in emergency response and stabilization.
Qualifications:
- Current NY RN license
- BLS & ACLS required
- PALS required or obtainable within 6 months
- Meditech experience required
- Travel experience required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- 1+ year acute care experience required
- Critical Care or charge experience preferred
- Must pass lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation
- Must be IV, medication & phlebotomy certified during orientation
- Ability to work well under pressure and identify life-threatening situations
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
Shift:
- 7p–7a (Nights)
- 36 hours/week guaranteed
- Weekend & holiday rotation required
