We are looking for an experienced Asset Manager/Lease Analyst to join a reputable real estate company located in Great Neck, New York. The ideal candidate will excel in managing lease agreements, financial reporting, and property accounting processes. Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation and management of financial statements related to property assets.
• Ensure accurate processing of lease agreements, including renewals and recoveries.
• Perform month-end close procedures to maintain timely financial reporting.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure compliance with accrual accounting principles.
• Utilize Yardi software to manage property accounting tasks and streamline workflows.
• Analyze lease contracts and provide recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to handle lease recoveries and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor financial transactions to ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for property-related financial activities.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in using Yardi software for property and lease management.
• Strong knowledge of accrual accounting and general ledger reconciliation.
• Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with lease agreements, renewals, and recovery procedures.
• Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
