Quest International is looking to add a full-time Field Service Technicians currently residing in New York to fulfill our customers’ needs.

Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, a Real ID, passport, or equivalent documentation that permits domestic air travel within the United States. Additionally, applicants must have access to a reliable personal vehicle and be willing to travel regularly between New York and New Jersey as part of the role.
Job Summary:
Provides product installation, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance (repairs) services on A/V equipment in the medical environment.
Essential Functions:
· Provides multi-step troubleshooting support on assigned service calls.
· Provides Phone Support to other FSE or Customers
· Actively involved in continuous improvement
· Participates in an on-call rotation to respond to urgent service calls outside of normal business hours.
· Assist in parts shipments as needed.
Specific required technical competencies/skills/knowledge:
· Requires excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Ability to troubleshoot to the FRU level
· Experience servicing electro-mechanical and medical device products
· Familiar with the use of common service tools including vacuum/pressure meter, frequency counter, and digital multimeter.
· Able to work in an environment that requires standing up to 8 hours a day.
· Requires bending, stooping, twisting, crawling, climbing, and other physical activities.
· Able to lift 50 lbs. both assisted and unassisted
· Proficient understanding of Cable Media can distinguish the difference between Coax, HDMI, USB, caS-6, etc.
· Able to mount AV equipment(speakers or monitors)
· Knowledgeable with AV Equipment including control systems, audio consoles, power amplifiers, digital signal processors, video matrix switchers, video scalers, PC interfaces, computer controls, and DVRs.
Secondary skills/knowledge:
· Requires travel up to 80% of the time (home on weekends)
· Experienced booking and tracking own travel and expenses
· Ability to rent a car
· Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

· A/V experience
· CCTV experience
· CompTIA A+ Cert
