Appliance Service Technician :

As an Appliance Service Technician, you must be highly organized and possess excellent communication skills. A successful individual is someone who enjoys working independently and has a very strong mechanical aptitude. Daily responsibilities include: Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.

Requirements of the Service Technician role include:

• 1 year of Proven field service experience (Appliance, Laundry)
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
• Electrical troubleshooting skills
• Run equipment through "cycles" to ensure the complete system is functioning properly
• Following unit installation, inspects equipment to ensure proper function.
• Maintains a neat and orderly truck, along with accurate part and tool inventory.
• Ability to follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship

Duties:

- Provide field service for appliance repair and maintenance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with various types of equipment
- Assemble and disassemble appliances as needed for repair or replacement of parts
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components or systems
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of appliances
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service
- Operate a company vehicle for transportation of equipment and tools
- Assist with delivery and installation of appliances as required

Skills:

- Strong technical skills in appliance repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of, electrical, appliances.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively
- Proficient in assembling and disassembling appliances
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Valid driver's license
