Our client, a prestigious full-service law firm with a legacy of over 150 years, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 1–4 years of experience and a strong interest in energy, utility, and regulatory matters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team handling complex and high-impact legal issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory, utility, and energy-related matters.
Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and other documents.
Assist with administrative and regulatory proceedings before state and federal agencies.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on strategy and execution.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
1–4 years of relevant legal experience (candidates with under 1 year of experience will not be considered).
Admission to the New York bar; admission to New Jersey bar is a plus.
Exceptional research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrated interest in energy, utility, and regulatory practice areas.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive compensation package ($115K–$145K depending on experience).
