We are currently hiring a Independent Skills Educator, to work in our Community Maternity Services Office. As the Independent Skills Educator, you would be responsible for:
- Assess residents’ independent living skills using the Ansel Casey Assessment (every six months) and document results in the CONX system.
- Conduct pre- and post-tests to evaluate Independent Living (IL) knowledge and skills.
- Develop and implement individualized IL plans based on assessment results.
- Assist residents in job searches, job readiness, and career development.
- Serve as a job coach and establish relationships with local employers.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and treatment meetings as scheduled.
- Communicate with Residential Managers, Caseworkers and treatment team to ensure a coordinated approach to youth services.
Independent Skills Educator Minimum Salary: $20.00 per hour
Independent Skills Educator Maximum Salary: $22.00 per hour
Independent Skills Educator Schedule: Weekdays (Full-Time, 35 hours a week)

Qualifications:

- Associate Degree in Human Services or related field, Bachelor's degree preferred

- A valid driver’s license and maintain required vehicle insurance with access to a vehicle during work hours

- 1-3 years of relevant experience
