Structural Engineer Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer with a strong interest in building design, architectural collaboration, and professional growth. This position offers significant growth potential based on your skills and ambitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze structures made of steel, concrete, masonry, cold-formed steel, and wood, following building codes and standards.

  • Conduct structural condition assessments of buildings and parking structures, preparing detailed engineering reports.

  • Collaborate with project teams to develop contract documents and technical specifications.

  • Prepare clear and organized engineering calculations.

  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Provide support during construction phases, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site visits.

  • Develop cost estimates for structural work.

  • Review work prepared by junior engineers and ensure quality control.

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, interns, and designers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in structural engineering and building design.

  • Strong understanding of building codes and design standards.

  • Experience with structural analysis software.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.

  • Valid driver’s license required.
