Must-Have Requirements
- US Citizenship or Green Card Holder (valid US work authorization required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience servicing/installing medical imaging equipment (CT or PET mandatory; Nuclear equipment preferred)
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with medical imaging systems
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, software installations/upgrades, and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Willingness to travel across the US (and internationally if required)
Job Summary
The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for delivering onsite and remote technical service support for advanced CT, PET, and Nuclear Medicine imaging systems, including DSPECT and VERITON-CT. This role ensures high system performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence while collaborating with Service Leadership, Operations, Engineering, and Sales teams to enhance product reliability and serviceability.

- Provide onsite and remote break-fix support for software, hardware, IT systems, and clinical applications
- Perform new system installations, field upgrades, and preventive maintenance
- Take full ownership of customer satisfaction by identifying concerns and ensuring timely issue resolution and escalation
- Make independent decisions to engage appropriate internal resources for problem resolution
- Maintain direct communication with customers and ensure proper follow-up until full resolution
- Support new product introductions and first-of-kind installations
- Provide status reporting to internal and external customer support teams
- Act as a technical resource and customer advocate when needed
- Collaborate with Sales and Applications teams to resolve customer concerns and support revenue growth initiatives
- Identify process improvement opportunities in tools, training, and service workflows
- Report directly to the Director of Service
Experience, Knowledge, Skills Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent preferred
- Experience servicing and troubleshooting industrial or medical equipment
- Strong technical expertise in software, hardware, and electro-mechanical systems
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible and willing to travel to support domestic and international locations
- Additional duties as assigned to support company mission and objectives
