About the Role:
The Maintenance Manager at Wayne County Eggs (WCE) will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our agricultural facilities. This position is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, including predictive and preventive maintenance, to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of skilled technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement in maintenance practices. By implementing lean manufacturing principles, the manager will optimize maintenance processes and resource allocation. Ultimately, the goal is to maintain high standards of facility performance, ensuring that all equipment, including boilers and electrical systems, operates at peak efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management within an industrial or agricultural setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and facility maintenance practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with boiler systems and plant management.
- Familiarity with agricultural equipment and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy that includes predictive and preventive maintenance schedules.
